About Everwilde
Everwilde is a small, home-based business focused on the sustainable cultivation of natural dye plants and the creation of hand-dyed textiles and accessories.
Located on a working farm near Chesley, Ontario, the business operates from a 2500 square foot garden, where dye flowers and foliage are grown, harvested, and used to produce eco-conscious colour through traditional dyeing techniques.
Meet Brittany
Farmer / Natural Dyer / Beekeeper
Brittany is a natural fibre artist with over ten years of experience working with natural dyes, fibre, and colour. Her practice is grounded in a deep respect for traditional craft, and the full lifecycle of the materials she works with.
She spent seven years at Viola Yarn, where she was involved in every stage of the dyeing process and day-to-day operations. In 2022, she worked at Wave Fibre Mill, operating milling equipment and gaining hands-on experience processing fibre.
Today, Brittany hand-dyes all of her projects using natural colour grown in her dye garden. This garden plays an integral role in her creative process, providing a seasonal, sustainable palette of colour derived from flowers, roots, and leaves.
Her materials are selected with care, and her approach emphasizes sustainability, craftsmanship, and a connection to place.
Brittany offers summer workshops in natural dyeing, floral printing, and ink-making — sharing her knowledge with those interested in exploring the beauty and complexity of plant-based colour.
